LoudounGo is operated by GoNova Media Group LLC.

LoudounGo has no accounts and no logins. We collect very little: your email address if you sign up for the newsletter, and the details you choose to give us when you submit an event or send us a message.

Like most websites, we also keep routine technical records — which pages were viewed, roughly where visitors are located, and what kind of device was used. None of this identifies you by name.

The signup box on the site asks for an email address and nothing else. That address is stored in our email platform and used to send the weekly guide and occasional announcements about LoudounGo.

A signup that reaches us through a Meta (Facebook or Instagram) form also gives us a ZIP code. It is stored alongside the email address and follows the same rules: never sold, and deleted if you ask us to.

We never sell or rent email addresses. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

Our email platform reports how many people opened an email or clicked a link. We use those totals to decide what to write about, and we don’t use them to single anyone out.

When you submit an event or send a business or advertising inquiry, we receive whatever you type — typically a name, an email address and the details of your event or question.

We use those details to review and publish listings, to reply to you, and to keep a record of what was asked. Inquiries are sent to hello@loudoungo.com and read by the LoudounGo team.

Event details you submit may be published on the site as part of a listing. If you want a listing corrected or removed, email us and we’ll take care of it.

When you request one of our reports, we use your name, email and business name (if you give it) to send you the report, and we may follow up about partnering with LoudounGo. If you choose yes, we also add you to our Thursday weekend guide, and you can unsubscribe at any time. To be removed from report follow-ups, email hello@loudoungo.com.

Our Thanksgiving guide lets you make a “Who’s bringing what” list for your family meal. A list holds only the name of the meal, its date and time, the host’s first name, the dishes, and the first name of whoever claims each one. There are no accounts and no email addresses. Your browser keeps a random code so it can remember your name and which dishes are yours; we store only a scrambled version of that code.

Only people with the list’s link can see it. Lists aren’t listed anywhere on the site and are hidden from search engines, and we don’t run analytics or advertising tools on list pages. The host can change or remove anything on the list.

Every list, with everything on it, is deleted automatically seven days after the meal, and all of this year’s lists are deleted on 1 December 2026 at midnight. If you want a list deleted sooner, email us the link.

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and guides people read, a Meta pixel to measure how well our posts bring visitors to the site, and Microsoft Clarity to see aggregated heatmaps and anonymised session recordings that show us where the site is confusing. All three use cookies or similar identifiers.

These tools see pages viewed, approximate location and device type — not your name, address or email. You can block them any time in your browser settings, and the site keeps working.

LoudounGo is written for parents, not for children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the site has no accounts, profiles or chat.

If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we’ll delete it.

We don’t sell personal information, and apart from the case below, we don’t share it beyond the small set of services that run LoudounGo: our email platform for the newsletter, Google Analytics, Meta and Microsoft Clarity for audience measurement, and our hosting provider.

Some giveaways and offers are run by LoudounGo together with a named local business, such as one of our partners. When that's the case, the sign-up form names the business and says plainly that your details go to both of us. We share your name, email address and ZIP code with that business only, so it can send you its news and offers. You can unsubscribe from LoudounGo and from the business separately, at any time.

We’ll only disclose information further if the law requires it.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in any email. You can ask us to correct or delete anything you sent us, or stop using analytics cookies through your browser.
